The ornament of this shirt has a special history—it has been recreated from an ancient, authentic traditional towel (rushnyk). The vyshyvanka was named after the name "Nastasiia," which was embroidered on the original source towel. Unfortunately, the origin and the exact year of creation of this unique artifact remain unknown. The ornament is dominated by delicate ribbon compositions with encoded geometric and floral symbols. The main highlight of the pattern consists of several horizontally arranged rose branches. The true magic of the past is now brought to life in a modern design, as the unique hand-embroidery technique of the old days has been meticulously recreated using high-quality machine embroidery.
