Shirts of Mykolaiv region are traditionally embroidered with red, black, gray and blue threads. The ornaments are dominated by stylized floral motifs: pine trees, oak leaves, flowers and flowers with branches. Between the parts of the patterns is a line symbolizing the earth, the boundary between good and evil.
