The ‘Gazdynya’ sash with pocket is a modern interpretation of the traditional Ukrainian sash (a belt 3–15 cm wide and up to 3 m long, which in ancient times was tightly wrapped around the waist to secure loose-fitting, unstitched garments). Our product has been adapted to the needs of the modern woman: the sash is lined, features a convenient drawstring adjustment and is complemented by a functional pocket. The pocket is adorned with delicate, minimalist satin stitch embroidery, the pattern of which was inspired by the ornamentation of one of the collector’s plates from the renowned Budyansky Faience Factory, which operated in the Kharkiv region.
The garment retains its shape perfectly thanks to the high-quality lining, and the adjustable cut accentuates the waist and ensures a perfect fit for any figure.
Care:
1. Washing:
- hand or machine wash, at a water temperature not exceeding 40°C;
- do not use detergents containing bleaching agents, particularly chlorine, when washing;
- do not use the ‘spin’ cycle when machine washing.
2. The garment responds well to heat treatment, including ironing.
3. We recommend ironing the garment inside out.
