This embroidered handkerchief from the Nadsyannya collection is a festive and vibrant item that represents the unique ornamental tradition of the Yavoriv region. The product is decorated with woolen floral embroidery characteristic of the Nadsyannya region—a pattern that cannot be confused with any other regional style.
The embroidery is placed on one side of the scarf corner, in accordance with authentic samples. The reverse side of the product is neat, which ensures comfort and a neat appearance. The white color of the base emphasizes the decorativeness of the ornament and gives the product a solemn look.
The ornament is reproduced from a museum sample from the “Open Chest” collection. The origin of the original is the Lviv region, Yavoriv district (Nadsyannya), early 20th century. The embroidery is machine-made with woolen threads.
Product care:
— hand wash at a temperature of up to 30 °C;
— use mild gel detergents without bleach;
— squeeze gently to remove water (do not wring);
— shake off any remaining moisture, smooth out and dry in a horizontal position away from direct sunlight;
— it is important not to overdry the fabric so that it remains soft and pleasant to the body;
— ironing is best done with steam.
