Concept
The first star on Christmas Eve is always special. It lights up the sky to announce — the time of wonder has come. The darkness no longer feels so cold, for within it appears the first light — small, warm, and alive.
This very moment of transition — from darkness to radiance, from waiting to faith — was captured by the artist Roman Barabakh in his work.
Imagery
On the scarf, a young woman holds a ritual Christmas star in her hands. Holding her breath, she watches as the first star rises in the sky — the herald of Christmas.
Its appearance is a sign for the carolers: it’s time to carry the good news into the world, from house to house, continuing the ancient Christmas tradition.
Around them, angels bless their path, holding above them the peace of the heavens. All this unfolds against a deep red background, reminiscent of the fire burning in homes on the festive night.
Material and Symbolism
Made of natural silk, the “Shone” scarf tells a story of wonder — a miracle capable of rekindling the very joy of life despite the weariness of days and the weight of silence that sometimes envelops the world.
