Care:
1. Washing:
- Wash in domestic or commercial machine in water not exceeding 30°C, at delicate/gentle setting.
- Wash gently by hand in water not exceeding 30°C.
- Do not use bleach.
- Do not tumble dry.
2. The garment is well resistant to heat treatment, including ironing.
3. We recommend ironing the garment from the wrong side.
Description:
Vertical rows of circular motifs with a terracotta spot in the centre were often referred to as ‘peacock’s eyes’ in the Podillia tradition. They symbolise fertility and protection. And the dark green colour of the linen, combined with graphic embroidery, creates an image of contemporary ‘Cossack modernism’. This is the choice of a man who knows his history and stands firm on his own land.
