Care:

2. The garment is well resistant to heat treatment, including ironing.

Description:
The shirt’s ornamentation features a variety of embroidery techniques, one of which is ‘nightingale’s eyes’. This technique is one of the most delicate and well-known counted-thread and openwork embroidery techniques of Left-Bank Ukraine, particularly the Poltava region. Combined with the shirt’s dark background and dark embroidery threads, this technique creates the effect of ‘living lace’, whilst the ornament itself takes on a three-dimensional and textured quality. This ornament also incorporates the techniques of counted satin stitch, openwork and serging.
