The crisp, understated and rhythmic motif from one of the pieces produced by the ‘Budi’ pottery factory in the Kharkiv region served as the inspiration for the embroidery on this shirt. The plate was designed in a minimalist style, with an ornament along the rim that emphasised the overall shape of the piece. We applied a similar principle by placing the ornament on the shirt’s details to highlight the garment’s construction. A shirt with a button placket and chest pockets, which are also fastened with buttons. The shirt sleeves feature cuffs with button fastenings. The back has a double yoke and a bow pleat in the centre.
