A women's embroidered shirt from the "Embroidered Ukraine" collection.
In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, people have always loved to combine several embroidery techniques, various ornaments and patterns, and to decorate the sleeves with lavish detail. This is exactly what we have reproduced in our Ivano-Frankivsk embroideries. The favorite clear geometric pattern of Pokuttya people, namely the composition of quadrangles, combined with the ornament of a traditional fancy flower - a flowerpot, which we often see on women's and men's embroideries of the Horodenka district, form a dynamic ornament in symbiosis.
