A woman's embroidered shirt from the collection “Embroidered Ukraine”.
The image of the Kropyvnytskyi region is reproduced from the exhibits of the Kirovohrad Regional Museum of Local Lore. The ornament combines the embroidery of women's vyshyvanka from the village of Shamivka and men's vyshyvanka from the village of Rozumivka, both of which date back to the early twentieth century.
The women's shirt has a narrow striped armhole. The strip has an ornament created according to the rules of the ancient traditions of the region, namely a pattern of diamonds in which the rouges are arranged. The puffed sleeves are embroidered with large rose compositions. The cuffs are covered with a belt of roses.
